The runaway state

The runaway state is a one man band who ran into a fair amount of success when he began to post video’s on Youtube and now three albums later, ‘The runaway state’ aims to create ridiculously happy music, which never fails to put us in a good mood. Albums/EP’s include  short albums  ‘Cold hands, warm heart’ and ‘infinite’ and his latest full album ‘ A little brighter’ which is by far the strongest. The sweetest track ‘Live our lives’ and my personal favorite ‘ We grow up too fast.’ If you like acoustic guitars,chilled out, indie, uplifting, catchy minorly corny lyrics – Then this is for you.

TOM LAW

Well first music post for a while. But I thought this was worth a cheeky mention. The new EP ‘Dropping in’ by Tom Law is just absolutely amazing. I found it through the related artists section on spotify, so if any of you are spotify listeners you MUST go check out this EP because it’s so raw and simple, yet so catchy and just makes you instantly jubilant with the relatable of the lyrics. Twists of humour, and sweet acoustic guitar, brings music back to basics in the best form possible.

Summer spell

I don’t actually know what is wrong with my complete lack of ability to commit to anything. Like for instance – this blog. I am terrible at sticking to things and seeing them through, no matter how successful it starts out. I seem to be that way in almost every aspect of my life, But I am determined for this not to go to waste. So here it is. First post in yonks, but hope you will all have me back. Summer has been the most immense two months, and I’ve realized it’s extraordinary seeing how much you can change in two months. Back on track, I’ll be writing about music super soon, promise!

Kodaline are an Irish Band singing soft folk styled rock. They are one of my absolute favorites at the moment and I just can’t understand how they are not already known by more people. They are Currently Number one album in Ireland and are just starting to break into the scene in America and England.

Paolo Nutini came out with this a few years back, but it’s just a ridiculously happy song that I happily have on repeat. Songs from the past always seem to make me nostalgic, but the older songs are a robust reminder of the past.
